HOLOSCENARIOS: ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT

A collaboration with Morlen Health — a subsidiary of Northwest Permanente PC

WHAT DOES HOLOSCENARIOS: ADVANCED CARDIO LIFE SUPPORT DO?

ABOUT THE APPLICATION

HoloScenarios presents full clincial simulations with holographic patients, medical devices, and tools. Participants can share these immersive simulations from disparate locations. Together, their decisions and actions impact the patient’s improvement or deterioration. Facilitator’s can manually override to take learners across stages in your preferred order and pace.

ABOUT THE SIMULATIONS IN ADVANCED CARDIO LIFE SUPPORT

The ACLS Module, created in collaboration with Morlen Health — a subsidiary of Northwest Permanente PC — prepares learners with advanced cardiac life support skills using hyperrealistic holographic simulations.

REALISTIC AND SCALABLE SIMULATIONS

Robust multi-stage simulations

Branching logic allows the same simulation to produce many permutations of outcome.

Hyperrealist patients and animations

Notice intricate and subtle visual cues, like the accessory muscles of a patient indicating trouble with breathing.

Prescribe and administer medications

Choose the right dose and delivery mechanism then administer appropritately while saving thousands of dollars per learner on consumbales

Spawn expensive medical equipment

Use your headset or mobile phone to generate large medical devices, small tools, and consumables

TESTIMONIALS

Speed, accuracy and teamwork are critical to providing lifesaving care during a cardiac emergency; training has to be top-quality for every person involved, individually and as a group. Conventional methods such as expensive mannequins cannot simulate the sense of urgency and teamwork of real-life BLS/ACLS – mixed reality adds both an incredible level of realism and collaboration to close critical training gaps. By partnering with GigXR, we’re allowing learners to practice real-time emergency care in the metaverse just as they would as a healthcare professional in the hospital or even as a family member at home.

For a non-medical professional practicing how to handle these scenarios, which can be incredibly intense and shocking, it is going to make life altering differences for those suffering a cardiac emergency outside of a hospital or clinical environment.
