What is Mixed Reality?
When you look through a mixed reality headset (such as the Microsoft Hololens or Magic Leap), you still see everything, as if you were wearing a pair of glasses. The difference is, as well as seeing the real-world, you now see holographic objects mixed with your environment seamlessly. These physical and digital objects can now co-exist and interact in real time.
Mixed Reality has the ability to scan and recognize objects, including surfaces, doors, ceilings, and other objects. This allows us to attach digital objects to physical surfaces such as factory floors, boardroom tables or existing machinery.
