Retro Texture Look

Have you ever want to make your Unity game look like it was being played on a PS1 or N64? Sometimes, low poly models and blocky textures aren’t enough. What else did they do differently back then?

Remember that weird, jumpy thing textures did back in those days? Let me refresh your memory:

Today, game engines like Unity spoil us. We have these nicely filtered textures that look good from any perspective. Consoles back then didn’t support perspective corrected texture mapping. According to this guy on the Unity forums, you can use a shader to turn off perspective correction and make your project look a little more 90s. Try it out!
